  16. DTV doesn't cover Amiga stuff much these days, but that doesn't mean they 
  17. don't respect the Toaster/Flyer/LW community.  I don't subscribe because 
  18. as an Amiga user, there really isn't enough coverage, however, I do 
  19. browse through it on the stands and I think in all the hubbub over 
  20. platforms and operating system wars that I should point out my observations.

  22. One recent issue went over all the animation packages.  Some of them 
  23. for the PC and SGI marked very high in the features list, but most all of 
  24. them had severe problems in ease of use.  An overall percentage weighed 
  25. all of the ratings, and Lightwave came out as the clear winner with 90 
  26. some-odd percent.

  28. That isn't the only Amiga item that beat out the competition.  I forget 
  29. what the other one was, maybe the Flyer or Alphapaint or something...

  31. I just think that those who go around saying that the other platforms do
  32. it all just as well with their own software are full of it.  The Amiga
  33. still has unique strengths in videowork.  How long that lasts, I dunno. 
  34. But the DTV reviews tell no lies--God knows that if their loyalties
  35. related to the % of coverage, they would be biased against the Amiga.
